Dr. Florince Christy, Ph.D. (Hons), MIPR, APR is the Deputy Director, Corporate Membership of the Institute of Public Relations Malaysia (IPRM) and the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of FuturEdge Global Sdn. Bhd.

With more than 30 years of professional experience, Dr. Florince has established herself as a respected public relations practitioner, leadership consultant, entrepreneur and corporate trainer. Her expertise spans public relations, corporate communications, strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, tourism and hospitality development, leadership and organisational development, customer experience, community empowerment, women leadership, and human capital development.

Dr. Florince holds an Honorary Ph.D. in Hospitality & Tourism Management from Thames University, France, and is an Accredited Public Relations Practitioner (APR) and Member (MIPR) of the Institute of Public Relations Malaysia. She is also an ASEAN Master Trainer (Tourism) certified by the William Angliss Institute, Australia, a Fellow of the Confederation of Tourism & Hospitality (CTH), United Kingdom, a Certified Hospitality Educator and Trainer, as well as an HRD Corp Accredited Trainer.

Throughout her distinguished career, she has served in various leadership roles across the corporate, public and community sectors. She is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of FuturEdge Global Sdn. Bhd., a member of the Majlis Wanita & Keluarga Sarawak (MWKS) since 2016, and previously served as a Councillor of the Kota Samarahan Municipal Council from 2016 to 2025. She also serves as Vice President of the Dayak Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI). In recognition of her contributions to leadership and community development, she has been conferred the Ahli Bintang Sarawak (A.B.S.) in 2019 and the Pingat Bintang Kenyalang (P.B.K.) in 2023, in addition to receiving the Asia Iconic Award.

An accomplished international speaker, trainer and consultant, Dr. Florince has trained and mentored more than 100,000 professionals, entrepreneurs and community leaders throughout Malaysia. She has also presented at international conferences on community leadership, tourism and healthy cities, authored and presented papers on women leadership, community empowerment and sustainable development, and contributed extensively to leadership, strategic planning and public relations capacity-building programmes nationwide.

As Deputy Director, Corporate Membership of IPRM, Dr. Florince is committed to strengthening corporate membership engagement, promoting the value of professional public relations, supporting membership growth initiatives, fostering strategic partnerships with industry, government and academia, and contributing to professional development programmes that advance the communications profession in Malaysia.
