Ravindran Raman Kutty is the Principal Consultant for Stratcomm Consult, holds a Master’s in Communications (MA Communications) and is an accomplished PR practitioner with over three decades of experience in Corporate Communications. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Public Relations Malaysia (IPRM) and a recipient of the prestigious ASEAN Public Relations Network (APRN) Accredited Fellowship Award.
In addition, he is a certified sustainability professional, having completed the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) training with the Academy of ESG and Sustainability Sdn Bhd.
Throughout his career, Ravindran has held various significant roles. He served as the President of the Bandar Sri Damansara Residents Association (BSDRA), which received the LA21 Award in 2009/2010. has been recognised as an Industry Specialist by the Ministry of Human Resources.
Ravindran’s notable achievements include leading successful campaigns for organisations such as MRCB, Northport (M) Bhd, Alam Flora, MIMOS, ECER and the Pengerang Petroleum Integrated Complex (PIPC) crisis in Johor under PEMANDU (MPRC).
While at the Institute of Strategic and International Studies, Ravindran served as the Deputy Director of the Public Affairs & Conferencing Unit. He successfully organised over 50 international and regional conferences focusing on geopolitics, security, and critical issues such as Bosnia and Herzegovina. His experience includes managing major events like the Asia Pacific Roundtable, bilateral meetings, World Bank conferences, United Nations forums, and the Pacific Dialogues.
He has been a prominent speaker on Crisis Communication and media training locally and internationally.
Ravindran is also the Director of Communications at Spirit of Endeavour and the Senior Advisor & Head of ESG at FOY Communications Sdn. Bhd.
He also contributes as a columnist for publications including Sin Chew Jit Poh, New Straits Times, The Vibes and The Scoop. He holds a leadership position in IPRM and academic advisory positions at Taylors University College and Sunway University under the Industry Advisory Panel. He was also the special advisor for the World Youth Council, Melaka.
