I think many would like to forget 2020 and cannot wait to move on to 2021 and if possible to erase almost all memories of 2020 especially because of the pandemic that have caused havoc to the whole world. But for every adversity there is serendipity.
This pandemic had actually brought the whole world to its knees but it also made us think and reflect on this year. How this invisible virus had made us realize how fragile our lives are. We were made to stay at home, which in turn brought families together, brought Temples, Gurudwaras, Churches, Mosques etc to homes, education could be done online. We all suddenly felt that food could be scarce and had to control our food intake and for some, we empathized how animals in captivities feel, our environment became cleaner and this list can go on. The human race helped each other irrespective of race, colour or creed. In summary, what this pandemic did was to heal the world.
Therefore, this Christmas we have so much to be thankful off, be more respectful and be appreciative to all of God’s creation. This is the season to be jolly and thankful. Thank you, God for bringing this challenge to all of us and maybe we will learn something from this pandemic.
“MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR”
